Red cards are nothing new for Sergio Ramos. He holds the record for the most 20 red cards in La Liga history. The Spanish defender continued his streak of red cards in French Ligue A as well. Ramos, who was sent off in Paris last year, saw his second red card at PSG last week. He had to leave the field in the 41st minute after arguing with the referee in the match against Rennes.

Ramos’ punishment did not end there. Considering the whole matter, the Disciplinary Committee of League ‘A’ banned him for three matches. The one-match ban will be suspended. PSG said in a statement that Ramos will not play against Marseille and Ajaccio due to the ban. However, Benfica and Maccabi can play against Haifa in the Champions League group stage.

In the same match that Ramos got a red card, Neymar got a yellow card as a substitute. It was his third yellow card in France’s last 10 domestic matches. Because of this, the Brazilian forward has to stay out of the field for one match.

As Ramos has been banned for two matches, PSG coach Christophe Gaultier is worried about the defense in League A. The former Real captain has played 15 matches in all competitions this season. Galtier will now have to organize the defense without him.

Ramos previously saw a red card at PSG last December. In total, his number of red cards in club football is now 28.

Lionel Messi could not play due to injury. Neymar came on as a substitute, but couldn’t do anything. Kylian Mbappe played from start to finish, but he didn’t look recognizable either. On the other hand, Sergio Ramos left the field again in the first half after seeing a red card. PSG didn’t have a good night in Rennes field. Christophe Gaultier’s team drew goalless after playing with 10 men at half time.

After the draw with Benfica in the Champions League, PSG lost points again in the league. However, the French champions have no losses in 10 matches, winning 8. As usual, PSG is at the top of the league with 26 points. Marshey is number two with 23 points in the draw.

Pablo Sarabia and Carlo Soler were brought down along with Kylian Mbappe in attack as Messi-Neymar was not in the XI. But no one could replace the two superstars of Argentina-Brazil. However, Neymar replaced Soler after 57 minutes. But he is also dim these days. And Mbappe could not find the rhythm. Everyone wasted all such opportunities! Mbappe once found the goalkeeper alone and smashed the ball into him. Neymar also found the keeper alone, beating from far outside.

After seeing the yellow card again, Ramos misbehaved with the referee and changed it to a red card. The Spanish defender had to see the red card for the 28th time in his career. In the end, Neymar also got involved in a fight with the players of Rennes, and saw a yellow card. All in all, there was no shortage of excitement on the field. Not only the goal, this is what!
